Hogar del Niño School
The Hogar´s school goes from first grade to high school with fully qualified teachers and a team of professionals including psychologists and social workers; a modern computer lab and a 20,000 volume library.
The children are required by the school to graduate with a technical degree, helping them this way to get a job when they finish High school. Many of the over 500 school children that attend the Hogar del Niño school come from a single or no parent home and need to provide for themselves and their families.
Exercise is included in the programs for the children every day. Other extracurricular activities include crafts, music and the arts.
