I love attending the Cafe de la Leche, a monthly charity event, which unites the women of Casa de Campo to enjoy an evening relaxing with a refreshing drink and a bite to eat, which in exchange for attending women are asked to donate dried milk, baby formula or cereals. The dried milk is then used to feed the 200 babies who are cared for in the Hogar del Nino's crib room, a very worthy cause, but I must confess that dragging myself into the supermarket on a Friday afternoon to buy the milk can be a bit of a hassle! Which is why the Club Cafe de la Leche is such a great idea - its a hassle-free, convenient way to contribute to the charity, every month straight from your bank account without having to go to the store!
