On Friday 28th of August, at Club de la Costa we held our first high school graduation of the Hogar del Niño school. Six students were awarded university scholarships for their outstanding grades.

I love attending the Cafe de la Leche, a monthly charity event, which unites the women of Casa de Campo to enjoy an evening relaxing with a refreshing drink and a bite to eat, which in exchange for attending women are asked to donate dried milk, baby formula or cereals. This is a great year for “Hogar del Nino”. We opened our new Library, one that will have a capacity of 20,000 volumes, not only for the use of the 1,500 children that come to Hogar every day, but also for the 9,000 children that three times a week have the opportunity to visit Hogar for Dental and Medical care.
