Café de La Leche
Created in September of 2001, the purpose of the Café de la Leche is to collect milks, cereals and formulas for the children at the crib room of the "Hogar del Niño". There are more than 200 children from newborn to two years in the Crib Room at Hogar and nowadays the Café de la Leche contributes with 40% of the consumption of their milk, this is more than 300 bottles of milk daily, thanks to all the people that participate every month in this activity.
The meetings of the Café de la Leche are carried out the first Friday of each month in the house of some of the contributors, everybody brings the milk, cereal or proteins that they can that day and there are informed of the new things that we are doing at Hogar; these meetings are open to all and therefore we exhort everybody to invite new people; if you can´t make the meetings you can still send your contribution by clicking on Click Here.
